IF YOU DIED IN THE NEXT 10 MINUTES, WOULD YOU GO TO HEAVEN OR HELL? Would you like to know for sure? |
We all want to go to heaven when we die. Jesus says in order to go, we must be born again. John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
WHAT MUST WE DO TO BE SAVED?
1. Realize you are a sinner.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
2. Realize because of sin you owe a penalty.
Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Rev 20:14-15 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
3. Realize God loves you and sent His son to die for you.
Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
4. Repent.
Luke 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Acts 3:19a Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out.
5. Receive Christ as your Savior.
John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
6. Ask Him into your life.
Rom 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
THE BOTTOM LINE Alcohol, drugs, lying, cheating, bad thoughts, adultery, stealing, homosexuality, cussing, smoking or even murder will not keep you out of Heaven. God knows all you have done and will forgive the most unspeakable sins. So, the only thing that will keep you from going to Heaven is if you choose your life of sin and reject God's Son the Lord Jesus Christ.....God will not forgive you for the rejection of His Son!
By thinking, " I'll get saved later " is rejecting Jesus right now, and this could be your last chance before you drop into Hell where you'll burn and suffer forever and ever and ever in the Lake of Fire. Please don't wait.....Proverbs 27:1 says, "Boast not thyself of tomorrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth."
